OUR VALUES
Please find below a link to view our NEW 2024 Environmental and Social Report, documenting our commitment to increasing sustainability and local community support, alongside steps we have and are taking to reduce our impact on the environment.

CERTIFIED B CORP
Folkington’s started life with a mission to prove that a sustainable sourcing model could work creating wonderful tasting drinks, backed up by provenance and made by a company that puts the good of the environment, its stakeholders and customers at the heart of everything we do. Being a B Corp™ cements that commitment.

CARBON NEUTRAL
Alongside our commitment to further reduce our CO2 emissions by keeping food miles down & using smarter logistics, we also calculate our CO2 emissions annually, and then invest in a project protecting the South American rainforest that offsets the impact of all these emissions. This neutralises the impact our business has on the climate,

UN SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
At the heart of The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

FARM NOT FACTORY
Folkington’s core principle “Farm not Factory” highlights the extent to which largely minimal processing is undertaken in the production of its drinks, and that none fall under the definition of Processed Foods or Ultra Processed Food and Drink. All Food and drinks are classified into four groups under the globally recognised NOVA Food Classification System. NOVA groups food and drink according to the extent and purpose of the processing they undergo

ORANGES - SUSTAINABLE HERO
Our founder, Paul, spends time with our orange growers, pressers and bottlers in Spain, to ensure that they continue to make substantial strides in making a positive impact on the environment.

APPLES - SuSTAINABLE HERO
Find out how we and our suppliers are making a conscious effort to make a positive impact on the environment & the climate along the journey from tree to bottle, when producing our English apple juice.
HOW WE SOURCE OUR INGREDIENTS SUSTAINABLY
We do this by returning to the same farms and farming communities each year which contributes to their long term sustainable income. This also ensures Folkington's drink have a unique consistency in both quality and taste. 97% of our ingredients are sourced this way, and we’ve done this since we made our first bottle.

SIX PRINCIPLES WE FOLLOW WHEN MAKING OUR DRINKS

LESS IS MORE
We use just a handful of ingredients, but of really good quality. Just like the principles of traditional Italian cuisine.

VARIETIES
We specially select varieties of fruit that make our drinks taste distinctive, and for consistency we never chop & change.

PROVENANCE
We source fruits from the same habitats to get a consistent quality and taste.

SUSTAINABILITY
Every year we return to the same farming communities to support their need for a sustainable income.

FARM NOT FACTORY
None of our core ingredients are ever over-processed; just pressed, squeezed or distilled soon after they’ve been picked.

BRITISH
Wherever possible we source our ingredients from British farmers to keep food miles to a minimum.
