Social Media Competitions

Terms and Conditions relating to all competitions marketed through Social Media platforms.
  1. All competitions marketed through Social Media platforms (“competitions”) are only open to entrants from the United Kingdom, excluding employees of Metro Drinks Limited (“the Company”), their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the operation of the prize draw. Winners are chosen at random.

  2. The closing time for all competitions is stated in the specific social media post. 

  3. Only one entry is permitted per person - duplicate entries will be removed.

  4. No purchase is necessary.

  5. For competitions where the winner is selected at random, the winning entrant (“winner”) will be the first person drawn at random. Where a competition post specifies that a favourite response will be chosen, Folkington's judges will choose the winning entrant ("winner"). Winners will be announced on Folkington's Instagram and Facebook social media pages.

  6. The Company will contact the winner via their email or respective social media account. 

  7. The decision by the Company as to who is the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

  8. No cash or other alternative to the stated prize will be offered.

  9. Delivery or prizes will only be made to a UK mainland address.

  10. Please allow 28 days for delivery of prizes unless otherwise stated.

  11. By entering, entrants agree:
       - To participate in reasonable publicity in the event that they are a winner.  
         This will include use of their name and image in online publicity.
       - That their entry can be used within our marketing materials /website /  
         social media where appropriate

  12. The Company reserves the right to suspend/terminate any prize draw at any time.

  13. No bulk, third party or automated entries are permitted or those submitted via macros or similar. The Company may disallow entries, refuse to award any prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.

  14. All competitions run on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

  15. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have no responsibility to entrants or participants.
