Social Media Competitions

Terms and Conditions relating to all competitions marketed through Social Media platforms.

  1. All competitions marketed through Social Media platforms (“competitions”) are only open to entrants from the United Kingdom, excluding employees of Metro Drinks Limited (“the Company”), their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the operation of the prize draw. Winners are chosen at random.
  2. The closing time for all competitions is stated in the specific social media post 
  3. Only one entry is permitted per person.
  4. No purchase is necessary.
  5. The winning entrant (“winner”) for the competition to win will be the first person drawn at random and will be announced via Facebook and Twitter via the Company’s social media pages.
  6. The Company will contact the winner via their email or Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts. 
  7. The decision by the Company as to who is the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  8. No cash or other alternative to the stated prize will be offered.
  9. Delivery or prizes will only be made to a UK mainland address.
  10. Please allow 28 days for delivery of prizes unless otherwise stated.
  11. By entering, entrants agree to participate in reasonable publicity in the event that they are a winner. This will include use of their name and image in online publicity.
  12. The Company reserves the right to suspend/terminate any prize draw at any time.
  13. No bulk, third party or automated entries are permitted or those submitted via macros or similar. The Company may disallow entries, refuse to award any prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.
  14. All competitions run on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  15. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have no responsibility to entrants or participants.

Longest Day Competition


Longest Day competition additional terms and conditions.

  1. To enter on Facebook and Instagram, simply like the Longest Day post and leave a comment of your favourite picnic spot with the hashtag #Folkingtonspicnic
  2. To enter on Twitter, simply retweet the post and leave a comment of your favourite picnic spot with the hashtag #Folkingtonspicnic
  3. The competition is open from 20.00pm on the 10th June 2020 and closes at 17.00pm GMT on the 16th June 2020.
  4. A winner will be selected at random from combined entries received across our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media channels & contacted on the 17th June 2020.
  5. The winner will be announced on our social media channels on the 18th June 2020.
  6. The prize is 24 x 250ml cans from our garden pressés range and 6 x Folkington’s picnic glasses.
