Chailey Heritage Foundation in Sussex is a school for children and young adults aged between 3 and 19, with complex physical disabilities, including visual and hearing impairments, and associated learning difficulties. Some have a profound learning disability in addition to other disabilities.

South Downs Summer Music is a unique week long festival of Chamber music performed by young people in the early years of their professional carrier. Mid Sussex Sinfonia is an amateur community orchestra based in Mid Sussex whose members are from both East and West Counties. Founded nearly 50 years ago it gives a minimum of 5 concerts every year and provides an opportunity for talented local musicians to perform together and in front of their families.
